Jane Weirick, a prominent organizer for the legal use of cannabis movement and a co-founder of the Patients Resource Center in San Francisco, died on Tuesday, 25 October 2005 . She was 46. For the past year, Weirick was incapacitated by a rare nerve disorder. She thought she might have suffered an allergic reaction from exposure to a pesticide that was sprayed on marijuana she handled.
